What's included
Backup design
Backup policies for servers, Azure workloads and Microsoft 365 data, matched to how long you can afford to lose data.
Ransomware protection
Immutable and soft-delete protection so backups cannot be quietly erased.
Restore testing
Scheduled test restores, so recovery is proven rather than assumed.
Site Recovery planning
Azure Site Recovery replication and failover runbooks for critical systems.
All work is delivered remotely; Solution Savy does not provide on-site support.
What you get
- An agreed scope and prioritised action plan
- Approved configuration changes and validation within that scope
- Documentation of the work and agreed responsibilities
- Next steps for maintenance, review or operational handover
Our process
Define recovery needs
Inventory critical systems and agree acceptable data loss and interruption.
Design protection
Select backup, retention and replication options appropriate to workloads and licences.
Configure and test
Apply approved policies and run agreed restore or isolated failover tests.
Document recovery
Record runbooks, test results and responsibilities for future recovery exercises.
Who it’s for
- Businesses with critical Azure or server workloads
- Teams needing tested recovery beyond existing backups
- IT owners reviewing ransomware resilience and restore procedures
Expected timeline
Workload sizes, backup windows, retention requirements and replication bandwidth determine setup. Initial protection must complete before restore testing; any failover exercise requires an agreed window. We confirm dates after assessing these dependencies.
Frequently asked questions
Is replication the same as backup?
No. Replication supports failover; backups provide recovery copies. The design may need both.
Can you work with Veeam?
Yes. Scope can include Veeam backup configuration and recovery alongside Azure services.
Are restore tests included?
We agree representative restore tests and any failover exercises as part of the scope.
Can you guarantee a recovery time?
Recovery objectives are agreed and tested for selected workloads; actual incidents can differ from test conditions.
Are immutable backups always available?
Availability depends on the product, storage, configuration and licences; we assess suitable protection options.
